Brasil: menos 72,6 mil vagas de trabalho com carteira assinada em maio

Em maio, 72.615 vagas de empregos formais foram fechadas em todo o país, segundo dados do Cadastro Geral de Empregados e Desempregados (Caged) divulgados hoje (24) pelo Ministério do Trabalho. O resultado mantém a tendência de mais demissões que contratações no mercado de trabalho. No acumulado de janeiro a maio,, 448.011 postos de trabalho já foram fechados este ano.

O resultado para o mês, no entanto, foi melhor que o do ano passado, quando 115.559 vagas foram fechadas em maio.

Nos últimos doze meses, o país perdeu 1.781.906 empregos com carteira de trabalho assinada, o que corresponde a uma retração de 4,34% do contingente trabalhadores formais. Com o resultado, o Brasil tem atualmente 39.244.949 trabalhadores com carteira de trabalho assinada.

Setores

O setor de serviços registrou a maior queda de vagas formais em maio de 2016, com fechamento de 36.960 postos de trabalho. O comércio diminuiu o ritmo de perdas, com a redução de 28.885 vagas em maio ante 30.507 postos fechados em abril. A indústria de transformação fechou 21.162 vagas contra 60.989 em abril.

Seguindo a tendência verificada em abril, a agricultura foi o setor que mais criou empregos no país em maio, com 43.117 novos postos de trabalho. No mês anterior, foram 8.051 novas vagas. O crescimento, segundo o Ministério do Trabalho, se deve à sazonalidade ligada ao cultivo do café, principalmente nos estados de Minas Gerais, responsável por 20.308 postos, e São Paulo, com saldo positivo de 4.273 vagas. De acordo com o relatório, a administração pública também apresentou saldo positivo, com geração de 1.391 postos em maio.

O emprego formal apresentou resultado positivo em Minas Gerais (9.304), no Espírito Santo (1.226), em Mato Grosso do Sul (562), Goiás (153) e no Acre (147). Nos demais estados houve perda de postos de trabalho. No Rio Grande do Sul foi registrada a maior queda (-15.829), influenciado pelo fator sazonal da agricultura (-3.723 postos a menos no setor).

Divulgado desde 1992, o Caged registra as contratações e as demissões em empregos com carteira assinada com base em declarações enviadas pelos empregadores ao Ministério do Trabalho.
