Segundo a estimativa da Câmara de Dirigentes Lojistas Jovem (CDL Jovem), mais de 40% do rendimento médio do brasileiro é utilizado para pagamento de impostos e tributos, o que corresponde a 153 dias de trabalho (de 1º de janeiro até hoje).
“É um dos percentuais mais altos do mundo, no patamar de países como Noruega, Dinamarca e Itália, que têm uma carga tributária muito alta, mas a contrapartida do Estado em forma de serviços para a população é muito melhor”, disse o coordenador da campanha Dia da Liberdade de Impostos (DLI) e presidente da Câmara de Dirigentes Lojistas Jovem (CDL Jovem) do Distrito Federal, Raphael Paganini.
“Não é por falta de dinheiro que os serviços não estão sendo prestados de uma maneira adequada no Brasil”, ressaltou.
Esta é a 9ª edição da campanha comandada pela entidade para conscientizar a população sobre a alta carga de impostos no Brasil e apoiar a simplificação tributária, e simboliza a data em que o trabalhador deixa de trabalhar apenas para quitar os tributos com os governos federal e locais.
“Quando começamos a campanha ela acontecia no meio do mês de maio. Conforme o tempo foi passando, infelizmente, a carga tributária foi aumentando e o brasileiro teve que trabalhar mais dias para arcar com tudo”, disse Paganini.
Em Brasília, os postos de gasolina Jarjour de Taguatinga, da Asa Sul e Asa Norte oferecem 45 mil litros de gasolina a R$ 2,14 (com redução de quase 40%) e a concessionária Champion oferece um carro Peugeot 208 Active por R$ 37.319, 38 (menos 28%). Os descontos equivalem ao valor dos impostos embutidos nos produtos.
Edmar Vieira trabalha com serviços gerais e desde as 5h30 estava na fila do posto Jarjour na Asa Norte para abastecer. Por volta das 10h, ele conseguiu ser atendido. Para ele, essa data é interessante para saber quanto os brasileiros estão pagando de impostos.
“A gente sempre é lesado, tudo que vai comprar tem impostos. Além do proprietário do posto pagar o imposto dele, a gente ainda paga em cima do imposto dele. É um absurdo mesmo”, disse.
A estudante Ana Paula Sanches também chegou no fim da madrugada para abastecer o tanque com o combustível sem tributos e também como forma de protesto.
“O Brasil é um país muito rico, tem riquezas minerais e naturais, tem pessoas muito boas, mas não é bem aproveitado. Se tivéssemos o retorno desse dinheiro a gente pagava feliz. Mas não tem”, disse.
A CDL Jovem defende a simplificação dos impostos e tributos. “Diminuir os impostos beneficiaria não só os empresários que poderiam ofertar seus produtos por um custo menor, mas o próprio consumidor poderia consumir mais produtos e de melhor qualidade”, disse Paganini.
