Apresar do crescimento, volume de serviços enfrenta queda desde janeiro de 2015.

O volume de serviços prestados no país cresceu 1% em abril, comparado a março, com o ajuste sazonal – o maior crescimento desde março de 2016, quando atingiu 1,2%.

Sem o ajuste sazonal, comparado com abril de 2016, houve queda de 5,6%, acompanhando as retrações de 5,2% em março e 5,3% em fevereiro.

O setor vem apresentando perda em todos os meses desde janeiro de 2015, com exceção de março de 2015, quando houve crescimento de 2,3%.

Segundo Roberto Saldanha, gerente da Pesquisa Mensal de Serviços, divulgada hoje, apesar da taxa de 1% de abril em relação a março o crescimento não foi suficiente para compensar as perdas acumuladas: no ano, a taxa acumulada ficou em -4,9% e, em 12 meses, -5,0%. “No contexto da crise, o setor de serviços é o último a entrar, mas também é o último a sair”, explicou Saldanha. “O acumulado em 12 meses é importante para avaliar se está havendo recuperação ou não. A recuperação do setor vai depender da redução dessa taxa acumulada”.

A taxa positiva de abril em relação a março se deve ao segmento de Transportes, serviços auxiliares dos transportes e correio, que registrou crescimento de 1,0% (série com ajuste) e tem um peso importante na construção do indicador. Segundo Saldanha, a taxa positiva está relacionada ao crescimento da indústria e da produção agrícola: “O setor de serviços costuma acompanhar o setor industrial. Tem sido assim ao longo dos meses”, comentou Saldanha, lembrando que em abril a indústria cresceu 0,6%.

Os segmentos de Serviços de informação e comunicação e Outros Serviços registraram quedas de 0,2% e 5,8%, respectivamente, e o agregado especial das Atividades turísticas apresentou recuo de 2,0% na comparação com o mês imediatamente anterior. Os segmentos de Serviços prestados às famílias e Serviços profissionais, administrativos e complementares não apresentaram crescimento.

Na análise dos resultados por atividades em relação a abril de 2016 (sem ajuste sazonal), observa-se que todos os segmentos registraram variações negativas de volume, principalmente Outros serviços (-16,4%) e Serviços profissionais, administrativos e complementares (-11,4%). Nos quatro primeiros meses do ano, os resultados acumulados apontam as maiores quedas para os segmentos de Outros serviços (-11,3%) e Serviços profissionais, administrativos e complementares (-9,9%). Dos resultados acumulados em 12 meses, o segmento de Transportes, serviços auxiliares dos transportes e correio registra a maior queda, com -6,7%, seguido dos Serviços profissionais, administrativos e complementares, com -6,6%. Nesse contexto, destacam-se os Serviços técnico-profissionais, que vêm apresentando expressivos recuos, devido à baixa demanda por parte do setor industrial e dos governos.
