Mata da Praia realiza ações recreativas para pets e seus donos

O projeto “Bonde dos Bichos” vai ser realizado na Mata da Praia neste domingo (27). O evento reunirá num mesmo espaço bazar, gastronomia, atividades recreativas, exposição fotográfica e música para os donos e seus pets. A entrada é gratuita e contará com a participação de expositores do mercado pet e atividades voltadas para os animais com o intuito de propiciar e oferecer aos moradores e tutores de animais domésticos um dia inteiro de entretenimento de qualidade e bem-estar animal.

O foco social ficará por conta do incentivo de doação de ração, que será devidamente repassada ao projeto “Abrigo Ame um Pet”, cujo objetivo é transformar a vida de animais resgatados, vítimas de abandono, trazendo alegria e uma nova história para todos eles.

A fim de conscientizar a população sobre o ato de adotar, as equipes do Centro de Vigilância em Saúde Ambiental (CVSA) realizarão, das 10 às 14 horas, Teatro de Fantoches, abordagens e orientações sobre a guarda responsável. Na ocasião, haverá também jogos educativos e exposição de maquetes, com premiação para os participantes.

Para a médica veterinária do CVSA Renata Bessa, toda pessoa que tem um cão ou gato deve ser responsável. “Não basta querer um animalzinho. Quando se assume um animal, se assume a responsabilidade por sua alimentação, saúde e bem-estar. O animal é mais um integrante da família, que precisa de amor, atenção e cuidados veterinários”.

O CVSA ainda realizará vacinação contra a raiva e também oferecerá orientações médico-veterinárias para os responsáveis pelos cães e gatos sobre como cuidar melhor do animal e proteger a saúde da família e da população.

O Bonde dos Bichos acontece na Praça Jacob Suaid, na Mata da Praia, a partir das 9h.
