A Semana Nacional de Mobilização dos setores da Educação, Assistência Social e Saúde para o combate ao Aedes aegypti vai até a próxima sexta (27). Mais de 210 mil unidades públicas e privadas de todo o Brasil estão sendo mobilizadas pela Sala Nacional de Coordenação e Controle, que reúne os ministérios da Saúde, da Integração, da Defesa, do Desenvolvimento Social e da Educação, a Casa Civil e a Secretaria de Governo da Presidência da República, além de outros órgãos convidados.
O objetivo é que durante esta semana a população seja alertada sobre a importância de combater mosquito transmissor de doenças como dengue, zika e chikungunya, já antes do verão, período do ano quando acontece o maior volume de chuvas, o que facilita reprodução do aedes aegypti. Ao todo serão mobilizadas 146.065 escolas da rede básica, 11.103 centros de assistência social e 53.356 unidades de saúde.
“Não podemos baixar a vigilância. É melhor cuidar do foco do mosquito do que sofrer as consequências de não ter feito essa iniciativa. Vamos reforçar, ainda mais, a necessidade de eliminar os criadouros, convocando toda a sociedade para esse trabalho já antes do verão, quando começam as chuvas”, aconselhou o ministro da Saúde, Ricardo Barros.
Estados e municípios tem autonomia para definir quais ações serão realizadas para mobilizar as áreas, mas a orientação da Sala Nacional é que sejam realizadas atividades que envolvam a prevenção e o combate do Aedes, como mutirões de limpeza, distribuição de materiais informativos, realização de rodas de conversas educativas, oficinas, teatros e gincanas.
“Campanhas como essa são essenciais para combater o mosquito, porque estimulam a participação da população. A comunidade precisa ter consciência e participar de ações de prevenção a essas doenças. Precisamos estar unidos para vencer essa batalha”, ressalta o ministro da Saúde, Ricardo Barros.
Ainda para aproveitar o momento de mobilização, a Sala Nacional também indicou aos gestores que fossem inseridas equipes nas unidades de ensino para confeccionar Cartões Nacionais de Saúde aos estudantes que não possuem cadastro no Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS).

Instalada para o enfrentamento à Microcefalia, desde o final de 2015, a Sala Nacional de Coordenação e Controle é coordenada pelo Ministério da Saúde e tem como objetivos gerenciar e monitorar a intensificação das ações de mobilização e combate ao mosquito Aedes aegypti.
Uma das ações realizadas em conjunto com estados e municípios é a realização de visitas aos imóveis com objetivo vistoriar e eliminar possíveis focos do aedes Aegypti, além de orientar a população sobre prevenção e combate ao mosquito. No primeiro semestre deste ano, foram vistoriados mais de 151,8 milhões de domicílios particulares e coletivos, estabelecimentos de ensino, estabelecimentos de saúde, estabelecimento de outras finalidades e edificação em construção no país.
Dados
As doenças transmitidas pelo Aedes aegypti têm tido queda expressiva em todo Brasil. De acordo com o Boletim Epidemiológico, até o dia dois (2) de setembro deste ano, foram notificados 219.040 casos prováveis de dengue em todo o país, uma redução de 85,2% em relação ao mesmo período de 2016 (1.483.623).
O mesmo estudo mostrou que foram registradas 171.930 notificações de casos prováveis de febre chikungunya. A redução é de 34,2% comparado ao ano anterior, que atingiu o número de 261.645 casos. Em relação ao Zika, os casos caíram 92,6%. Foram registrados 15.586 casos prováveis em todo país, enquanto em 2016, o Brasil registrou 211.487 notificações. A incidência reduziu 92,5%, passando de 102,6 em 2016 para 7,6 neste ano.

Segundo Rosangela Senna Miranda, referência técnica do Programa de Educação em Saúde e Mobilização Social (PESMS) da Secretaria de Estado da Saúde (Sesa), todos os municípios foram incentivados a executar ações de combate ao Aedes aegypti que fujam do convencional.
Cada município define sua estratégia de mobilização, mas espera-se que sejam realizadas atividades lúdicas em escolas, com uso de ferramentas como teatro e produção de vídeo; visitas a residências para orientação sobre combate ao mosquito, palestras e mutirões de limpeza envolvendo também comércio, associações de moradores e instituições religiosas.
O coordenador do Programa de Combate às Arboviroses (doenças transmitidas por vetores) da Secretaria de Estado da Saúde (Sesa), Roberto Laperrière Junior, explica que o verão é o período de maior proliferação do mosquito devido à combinação de alta temperatura e chuva, condição que facilita a reprodução do Aedes aegypti nos locais de água parada. Segundo o coordenador, na primavera, é preciso eliminar todas as possibilidades de proliferação do mosquito.
“Se intensificarmos a busca dos criadouros e eliminá-los agora, lavando as bordas de vasilhas de água e comida dos animais, cobrindo bem a caixa d’água, não deixando expostos recipientes que possam acumular água e adotando outras medidas preventivas, vamos entrar no verão com uma quantidade menor de mosquitos e, consequentemente, um número menor de pessoas picadas e infectadas”, destaca Laperrière.
Números
Entre 1º de janeiro e 14 de outubro, foram notificados 10.395 casos de dengue no Espírito Santo. Deste, 254 são casos graves e oito são óbitos sob investigação. No mesmo período, foram notificados 1.352 casos de Chikungunya, com um óbito confirmado, e 469 casos de infecção pelo zika vírus.
Saiba como eliminar os focos do mosquito em casa
– Escovar bem as bordas dos recipientes (vasilha de água e comida de animais, vasos de plantas, tonéis, caixas d’água) e mantê-los sempre limpos;
– Tirar água dos pratos de plantas;
– Manter fechadas as tampas de vasos sanitários e de ralos pouco usados, como os de áreas de serviço e de lazer, que tenham possibilidade de acumular água;
– Se for viajar, feche também os ralos dos banheiros e a tampa dos vasos sanitários;
– Manter o quintal sempre limpo, jogando fora o que não é utilizado;
– Deixar o quintal sempre bem varrido, eliminando recipientes que possam acumular água, como tampinha de garrafa, folhas, sacolas plásticas etc.;
– Tampar tonéis, caixas d’água e qualquer tipo de recipiente que possa reservar água;
– Certificar-se de que as lonas de cobertura estão bem esticadas para não haver acúmulo de água;
– Não deixar acumular água nos pratos de plantas;
– Manter a bandeja que fica atrás da geladeira limpa e sem água;
– Colocar garrafas vazias de boca para baixo;
– Se por algum motivo tiver pneus no quintal, mantê-los secos e abrigados em local coberto, ou descartá-los corretamente se não tiverem utilidade.
