Centro de Reabilitação realiza mutirão para entrega de cadeiras de rodas, órteses e próteses

O Centro de Reabilitação Física do Espírito Santo (Crefes) está realizando um mutirão de distribuição de  órteses, próteses e meios auxiliares de locomoção para reduzir o tempo de espera dos pacientes.  Serão investidos cerca de R$ 5,5 milhões para beneficiar 6,5 mil pacientes de todo o Estado.

Esse conjunto de equipamentos, importantes para a reabilitação do paciente, inclui diferentes tipos de cadeira de rodas adulto e infantil; bengala; andador; muletas; peças que ajudam na adaptação postural em cadeira de rodas, como assento e encosto; coletes de vários tipos; calçados anatômicos; palmilhas; coletor de urina para usuários em cadeira de rodas e aparelhos de amplificação sonora para usuários com problemas de audição, entre outros produtos.

Serão atendidos neste mutirão os pacientes que já passaram por consultas e exames e estão com indicação para uso de um dos dispositivos a serem entregues. De imediato, serão repassadas 100 cadeiras de rodas, feitas sob medida para crianças e adolescentes tetraplégicos. Serão entregues 20 cadeiras por dia até sexta (14). As entregas serão feitas pela Unidade de Trabalho de Prótese, Órtese e Concessão do Crefes e os pacientes receberão seus dispositivos no Refeitório do Centro de Reabilitação Física.

Os demais pacientes continuam seguindo o fluxo de acesso do Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS): ir até a unidade de saúde mais próxima de sua residência, ser avaliado pelo médico e encaminhado para especialista no Crefes. Após esta avaliação, o médico especialista do Crefes vai especificar o tipo de dispositivo que o paciente precisa, e o equipamento será ofertado conforme a prioridade do caso.

O secretário Ricardo de Oliveira ressaltou que a entrega desses dispositivos vai melhorar a qualidade de vida das pessoas com deficiência. “Das 6.510 pessoas que serão beneficiadas, 4.700, por exemplo, vão receber cadeiras de rodas. Este mutirão vai atender à necessidade dessa população. É uma população que tem deficiência e o Estado precisa efetivamente ajudar para que eles tenham uma qualidade de vida melhor”, comentou.

Pacientes

O senhor Odair Birka, de Domingos Martins, considerou o mutirão uma ajuda importante aos pacientes e familiares que precisam de cuidados especiais. “O nosso filho teve falta de oxigenação ao nascer, o que afetou a parte motora dele. Como ele não tem postura para sentar sozinho, a cadeira vai ajudar muito. Vai melhorar o nosso convívio e a locomoção para ir às consultas e fisioterapia”, relatou o pai do paciente Augusto Birka, de três anos.

O filho da dona de casa Idineia Dias, de Brejetuba, também foi beneficiado com uma cadeira de rodas. Rafael de Souza Rodrigues, de um ano e seis meses, nasceu com hidrocefalia e iniciou a reabilitação, nesta segunda, no Crefes. O menino recebeu uma cadeirinha de banho e a equipe do Crefes tirou as medidas dele para que possa receber a cadeirinha de rodas adaptada. Segundo a mãe, os equipamentos vão ajudar a melhorar a rotina da família. “Ele não consegue sentar sozinho. Precisa ficar deitado ou no colo o tempo todo. Os equipamentos vão ajudar muito e melhorar o dia a dia das famílias que têm os mesmos desafios que a nossa tem”, afirmou Idineia.

O Crefes

Além de disponibilizar os dispositivos de reabilitação, o Crefes realiza um trabalho de adaptação do paciente ao uso do equipamento e promove a reintegração da pessoa com deficiência física ou auditiva à vida social, oferecendo um pacote de serviços com ganho físico, psíquico e social para os usuários. Todo esse suporte é dado ao paciente pela equipe multidisciplinar do Crefes, que possui, além de médicos especialistas, enfermeiros, fonoaudiólogos, terapeutas ocupacionais, fisioterapeutas, técnicos em órteses e próteses, psicólogos e assistentes sociais.
