Vitória combate mosquito Aedes aegypti.
A Prefeitura de Vitória promove neste sábado (19) uma ação de prevenção à dengue no Centro do Vitória. Serão realizadas atividades educativas para mobilizar e conscientizar os moradores sobre a importância de eliminar e evitar possíveis criadouros do mosquito Aedes aegypti. O evento acontecerá na feira livre do Centro, com concentração na praça Ubaldo Ramalhete.
Além da feira haverá abordagens em lojas e residências do entorno, das 8 às 12 horas. Agentes de combate às endemias (ACE), agentes comunitários de saúde, supervisores de endemias, servidores de unidades de saúde e moradores, além de equipes de limpeza da Secretaria Municipal de Serviços (Semse) participarão do movimento.
A data foi pensada como forma de alerta para a previsão de aumento de casos de chikungunya, além de levar em conta o resultado do último Levantamento Rápido da Infestação do mosquito Aedes aegypti (Liraa), que apresentou crescimento do registro do inseto, com risco médio de transmissão das doenças.
Além do Centro, todas as unidades de saúde de Vitória também farão uma mobilização junto aos moradores para o controle do vetor em seus territórios.
“Nas abordagens, apresentaremos os resultados do último Liraa e as medidas de prevenção a serem adotadas com base no check-list (com recomendações e providências para eliminar focos do mosquito) e no tipo de criadouro preferencial. Para chamar atenção das pessoas, levaremos amostras das larvas do mosquito da dengue”, explicou a coordenadora técnica de Vigilância em Saúde Ambiental, Clara Scarpati Alvarenga.

“O calor e a chuva são ideais para a proliferação do mosquito. Então é importante a mobilização da sociedade para a prevenção da dengue”, disse a assistente social da Unidade de Saúde do Forte São João Adriana Vicente.
