Com viagem de Temer à China, Maia assume interinamente a presidência do país

O presidente Michel Temer viaja nesta terça (29) para a China. Quem assume o lugar dele, interinamente, é o presidente da Câmara dos Deputados, Rodrigo Maia. Temer  volta ao Brasil no dia 5 de setembro.

Na manhã desta terça-feira, Rodrigo Maia foi a Base Aérea de Brasília acompanhar o embarque de Michel Temer. O primeiro evento da agenda de Maia como presidente da República interino será uma reunião com o deputado Jarbas Vasconcelos, às 18h, no Palácio do Planalto. À noite, ele recebe o governador de Goiás, Marconi Perillo, para um jantar na residência oficial da Câmara dos Deputados.

Enquanto Maia estiver no Planalto, o comando da Câmara será exercido pelo segundo-vice-presidente, André Fufuca (PP-MA). Isso porque o primeiro-vice-presidente, Fábio Ramalho (PMDB-MG), integra a comitiva de Temer na viagem à China.

O presidente Michel Temer fará uma visita de Estado à China, onde participará da 9ª Cúpula do Brics, grupo formado pelo Brasil, a Rússia, China, Índia e África do Sul. No país asiático, que é o principal parceiro comercial do Brasil, Temer vai apresentar o pacote de concessões e privatizações lançado na semana passada pelo governo em busca de atrair investidores chineses.

A primeira parada de Temer será em Pequim, onde se encontra com o presidente Xi Jinping e participa de seminário que reunirá líderes empresariais chineses que já investem ou têm interesse em investir no Brasil. Em seguida, o presidente irá a Xiamen para a reunião do Brics.
