Governo inicia mobilização de combate ao aedes aegypti

Aedes_aegypti_mosquito-pintO governo federal iniciou, nesta sexta-feira (2), a mobilização nacional de enfrentamento do Aedes aegypti, transmissor da dengue, zika e chikungunya. No Dia Nacional de Combate ao Mosquito, os ministros de Estado estão visitando várias capitais como parte da missão de conscientizar a população. Quem está em Vitória é o Ministro da Cultura, Roberto Freire. Além de autoridades, militares das Forças Armadas, agentes de saúde e de defesa civil também estarão nas ruas para promover o enfrentamento ao Aedes.

O mutirão será realizado em órgãos públicos e estatais, unidades de saúde, escolas, residências, canteiros de obras e outros locais, marcando a intensificação das ações de combate e, consequentemente, impedindo a proliferação do mosquito.

A ideia é que, a partir do dia de mobilização, todas as sextas-feiras sejam dedicadas para verificação de possíveis focos, incentivando todos os segmentos da sociedade a fazer a sua parte. Essa campanha traz como foco “Sexta sem mosquito. Toda sexta é dia do mutirão nacional de combate”.

A nova campanha chama a atenção para as consequências das doenças causadas pela chikungunya, zika e dengue, além da importância de eliminar os focos do Aedes. “Um simples mosquito pode marcar uma vida. Um simples gesto pode salvar” alerta a campanha, que será veiculada em TV, rádio, internet, redes sociais em pontos de ônibus e outdoors no período de 24 de novembro a 23 de dezembro. A ideia é sensibilizar as pessoas para que percebam que é muito melhor cuidar do foco do mosquito do que sofrer as consequências da omissão.

Epidemia

Desde a identificação do zika vírus no Brasil e a associação com os casos de malformações neurológicas, no segundo semestre de 2015, o governo federal tem tratado o tema como prioridade. Por isso, no final do ano passado, foi criada a Sala Nacional de Coordenação e Controle, além de 27 salas estaduais e 1.821 salas municipais, com o objetivo de gerenciar e monitorar as iniciativas de mobilização e combate ao vetor, bem como a execução das ações do Plano Nacional de Enfrentamento à Microcefalia. A sala nacional é coordenada pelo Ministério da Saúde e conta com a presença dos integrantes de nove pastas federais.

Cabe a esse grupo definir diretrizes para intensificar a mobilização e o combate ao mosquito Aedes aegypti em todo território nacional, além de consolidar e divulgar informações sobre as ações e os resultados obtidos. Também faz parte das diretrizes, coordenar as ações dos órgãos federais, como a disponibilização de recursos humanos, insumos, equipamentos e apoio técnico e logístico, em articulação com órgãos estaduais, distritais, municipais e entes privados envolvidos.

Aedes aegypti: ministro pede ajuda da população para combater mosquito

“Um simples mosquito pode marcar uma vida. Um simples gesto pode salvar”, alerta a campanha de mobilização nacional contra o mosquito transmissor da dengue, zika e chikungunya, o Aedes aegypti. Em Vitória, quem chamou atenção para isso foi o ministro da Cultura, Roberto Freire, na manhã desta sexta-feira (2), durante ações de combate ao inseto realizadas nos bairros do Forte São João e Romão.

A ideia é sensibilizar as pessoas para que percebam que é muito melhor cuidar do foco do mosquito do que sofrer as consequências de não ter feito sua parte. “Todo brasileiro tem de ser combatente contra o mosquito da dengue, zika e chikungunya. Eu sou mais um combatente nessa luta que estamos travando no País, e vamos vencer com cada um fazendo a sua parte. E Vitória vai dar exemplo”, afirmou o ministro, ao convocar a população da capital a abraçar a mobilização nacional contra o mosquito e garantir que não faltarão recursos do Governo Federal para esse combate.

Desde o início da semana, os agentes de endemias e comunitários de saúde estão envolvidos em ação nos bairros Forte São João e Romão. Já foram realizadas 2,5 mil visitas domiciliares e outras 500 ainda serão feitas para o concluir o trabalho de orientação, tratamento e eliminação de focos na região.
