Governo lança programa para concluir mais de 7,4 mil obras paralisadas

Apesar de enfrentar um déficit fiscal de mais de R$ 160 bilhões em 2017, o que significa que não terá recursos para cumprir todos os compromissos que deve, o governo lançou nesta quinta (09) o Programa Avançar, com o objetivo de finalizar 7.439 obras que estão paralisadas. O investimento previsto é de R$ 130,9 bilhões, e a entrega das obras deve ocorrer até o final de 2018. De acordo com o governo, os recursos virão de três fontes: R$ 42,1 bilhões, do Orçamento Geral da União; R$ 29,9 bilhões, da Caixa Econômica Federal, do Fundo de Garantia do Tempo de Serviço (FGTS) e do Banco Nacional do Desenvolvimento Econômico e Social (BNDES) e R$ 58,9 bilhões, de empresas estatais do setor de energia, em especial a Petrobras.

O programa prevê a conclusão de obras de saneamento, creches, unidades de saúde, recuperação de pistas de aeroportos e duplicação de rodovias, entre outras iniciativas. O Nordeste terá o maior número de obras finalizadas. Serão 3.186, com investimentos de R$ 19 bilhões. Em seguida, vem o Sudeste, com 1.931 obras, totalizando R$ 52,51 bilhões.

O secretário-geral da Presidência da República, ministro Moreira Franco, destacou que serão concluídas pelo programa obras inacabadas, algumas paralisadas há anos, o que demonstra a retomada do investimento público no país. “Com o Programa Avançar, vamos retomar os investimentos públicos. Lamentavelmente, para tirar o país do vermelho e fazer todas essas reformas para garantir o equilibro fiscal do país, eles [os investimentos] tiveram que ser contidos. Agora estamos retomando”, afirmou  Moreira.

A apresentação do programa reúne diversos ministros, em cerimônia no Palácio do Planalto, com a participação do presidente Michel Temer.
