Inflação oficial avança e é de 0,35% na prévia de agosto

O Índice Nacional de Preços ao Consumidor Amplo – 15 (IPCA-15), que calcula a prévia da inflação oficial, registrou 0,35% em agosto. A taxa é superior à prévia de julho, que havia acusado deflação (queda de preços) de 0,18%, mas inferior ao percentual de agosto de 2016 (0,45%).

Segundo dados divulgados nesta quarta (23), no Rio de Janeiro, pelo Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia e Estatística (IBGE), o IPCA-15 acumula taxas de 1,79% no ano e de 2,68% em 12 meses. Essa é a menor taxa acumulada em 12 meses desde março de 1999 (2,64%).

A inflação de 0,35% da prévia de agosto foi influenciada, principalmente, pelos aumentos dos custos dos transportes (1,35%). A alta de 5,96% dos combustíveis representou o maior impacto individual na inflação do mês. Apenas a gasolina subiu 6,43%. Já o etanol ficou 5,36% mais caro.

Impactos

O grupo de despesas com habitação também teve um impacto importante na inflação, com uma alta de preços de 1,01%, provocada principalmente pelo aumento de 4,27% na energia elétrica. O impacto na conta de luz pode ser explicado pela entrada em vigor da bandeira tarifária vermelha a partir de 1º de agosto e pelos reajustes em concessionárias de São Paulo e Belém.

Os alimentos continuam com preços em queda. Pelo terceiro mês consecutivo, o grupo de despesas alimentação e bebidas registrou deflação (-0,65%). Os alimentos para consumo em casa ficaram 1,17% mais baratos, com destaque para o feijão carioca (-13,89%), a batata inglesa (-13,06%), o leite longa vida (-3,86%), as frutas (-2,43%) e as carnes (-1,37%). Já a alimentação fora de casa ficou 0,32% mais cara.
