Inflação sobe e taxa acumulada em 12 meses já é de 9,32%

A inflação medida pelo Índice Nacional de Preços ao Consumidor Amplo – IPCA voltou a subir, fechando o mês de maio em 0,78%, resultado 0,17 ponto percentual superior ao de abril, que foi de 0,61%. Esta é a taxa mais elevada para os meses de maio desde 2008, quando atingiu 0,79%.

Os dados relativos ao Índice de Preços ao Consumidor Amplo (IPCA), a inflação oficial do país, foram divulgados hoje (8), pelo Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia e Estatística (IBGE).

Com a alta de maio, o IPCA passa a acumular variação de 4,05% nos primeiros cinco meses do ano, resultado, no entanto, inferior em 1,29 ponto percentual aos 5,34% de igual período em 2015.

O IPCA acumulado dos últimos doze meses (a taxa anualizada) ficou em 9,32%, ligeiramente acima dos 9,28% relativos aos doze meses imediatamente anteriores. Em maio de 2015, o IPCA fechou em 0,74%.

A principal contribuição para a alta de maio veio do grupo habitação, que subiu 1,79%, e colaborou com 0,27 ponto percentual para o IPCA do mês, tendo como principal contribuição para a aceleração do grupo a taxa de água e esgoto, com alta de 10,37%. Foi o item de maior contribuição individual no mês, com 0,15 ponto percentual.
