Dos quatro mortos, três foram decapitados e um morreu por asfixia. Segundo o Comitê de Gerenciamento de Crise, o motivo da rebelião ainda é desconhecido.

A situação no local já está controlada, de acordo com a Secretaria de Administração Penitenciária do Amazonas.

Na sexta-feira (6), os detentos haviam provocado tumulto no local, protestando por mais espaço e melhores condições de infraestrutura. A cadeia pública Vidal Pessoa estava desativada desde outubro de 2016 após recomendação do Conselho Nacional de Justiça (CNJ), mas cerca de 280 detentos foram transferidos para o presídio após a chacina no Complexo Penitenciário Anísio Jobim (Compaj), ocorrida no dia 1° e que resultou na morte de pelo menos 56 presos.

O secretário de Segurança Pública do Amazonas, Sérgio Fontes, disse na sexta-feira que os detentos devem permanecer na cadeia pública, que está em obras, por cerca de três meses. O policiamento no local já havia sido reforçado e as visitas na unidade estavam suspensas.

Três corpos foram encontrados na manhã deste domingo (8), por volta das 9h40, em uma mata próxima ao Complexo Penitenciário Anísio Jobim (Compaj), em avançado estado de decomposição. Segundo informações da Secretaria de Estado de Administração Penitenciária do Amazonas, equipes da Polícia Civil, Instituto de Criminalística e Instituto Médico Legal foram deslocadas para o local para fazer a retirada dos corpos.

Entre os dias 1° e 2 de janeiro, o Compaj foi palco de uma chacina que deixou ao menos 56 detentos mortos após confrontos entre facções rivais. No episódio, cerca de 180 presos fugiram da unidade. Ainda não há informações se os corpos encontrados hoje têm ligação com os eventos do início da semana.

Na manhã de hoje também foi confirmada a morte de pelo menos quatro pessoas na Cadeia Pública Desembargador Raimundo Vidal Pessoa, no centro de Manaus. Dos quatro mortos, três foram decapitados e um morreu por asfixia. Segundo o Comitê de Gerenciamento de Crise, o motivo da rebelião ainda é desconhecido. O local estava desativadoa desde outubro de 2016 por falta de estrutura, mas após a rebelião ocorrida no Compaj voltou a funcionar para abrigar parte dos presos que estavam no complexo e sofriam ameaças de outros detentos. Com isso, número de mortos, decorrentes de rebeliões no Amazonas, chega a 67. Desde o início deste mês, o estado tem enfrentado problemas com rebeliões no sistema prisional.

De acordo com o secretário de Segurança Pública do Amazonas, Sérgio Fonte, a chacina no Compaj foi resultado da rivalidade entre duas organizações criminosas que disputam o controle de atividades ilícitas na região amazônica: a Família do Norte (FDN) e o Primeiro Comando da Capital (PCC). Aliada ao Comando Vermelho (CV), do Rio de Janeiro, a FDN domina o tráfico de drogas e o interior das unidades prisionais do Amazonas. Na ocasião, foram confirmadas 60 mortes. Desde o segundo semestre de 2015, líderes da facção criminosa amazonense vêm sendo apontados como os principais suspeitos pela morte de integrantes do PCC, grupo que surgiu em São Paulo, mas já está presente em quase todas as unidades da federação.

Ajuda Federal 

O ministro Alexandre de Moraes autorizou ajuda federal para a área de segurança aos estados do Amazonas, de Rondônia e Mato Grosso. As autorizações atendem a pedidos feitos pelos governos dos estados relacionados ao sistema prisional.

Ao Amazonas, que desde a semana passada enfrenta problemas no sistema penitenciário, foi autorizada a ajuda da Força Integrada de Atuação no Sistema Penitenciário, que atua no ordenamento de unidades prisionais, informou o ministério em nota divulgada neste domingo.

Uma rebelião envolvendo presos de facções rivais, iniciada no último dia 1º, resultou na morte de pelo menos 56 detentos no Complexo Penitenciário Anísio Jobim (Compaj), em Manaus. Hoje (8), mais quatro presos foram mortos pelos próprios internos em tumultuo na Cadeia Pública Desembargador Raimundo Vidal Pessoa, também em Manaus.

O governo de Rondônia pediu mais investimentos para equipar e manter presídios. Na nota, o ministério informou que embora o governo do estado não tenha oficializado a solicitação, o ministro Alexandre de Moraes já autorizou o pedido.

Na tarde de ontem (7), o ministro da Justiça conversou com o governador do Mato Grosso, Pedro Taques, e autorizou o envio de equipamentos de segurança para instalação em presídios.

Em relação a Roraima, onde 33 presos morreram na sexta-feira (6), o ministério disse que ainda não houve contato do governo do estado e que o ministro aguarda a solicitação. O governo de Roraima informou que vai refazer o pedido de envio da Força Nacional. Na madrugada de sexta-feira, 33 detentos morreram em um tumultuo na Penitenciária Agrícola de Monte Cristo, em Boa Vista.

Na sexta-feira (6), o ministro da Justiça apresentou o Plano Nacional de Segurança Pública, que tem como um dos objetivos principais a racionalização e modernização do sistema penitenciário. O plano pretende também reduzir homicídios, feminicídios e a violência contra a mulher e promover o combate integrado à criminalidade transnacional – ligada a grandes quadrilhas que atuam no tráfico de drogas e de armamento pesado.
