Parque da Cidade na Serra será ampliado

A Prefeitura da Serra vai ampliar o Parque da Cidade, em Laranjeiras em aproximadamente 20 mil metros quadrados de área verde e áreas de lazer.

A nova extensão do parque será murada, e contará com jardins internos, 2.370 novos arbustos, ampliação dos equipamentos de lazer e pista de caminhada, novos playgrounds, estacionamento para ônibus, guarita, passarela de madeira sobre córrego, entre muitas outras novidades.

O campo de futebol society, que já existe no local, também vai receber uma reforma, com instalação de grama sintética e nova iluminação em Led, que consome menos energia.

De acordo com o coordenador de Governo, Jolhiomar Massariol, um novo acesso ao local também será construído pela Avenida Guarapari, em Valparaíso, com o objetivo de criar um ambiente de convivência e interligar pontos distintos do parque, facilitando o acesso e circulação.

Jolhiomar ressaltou a facilidade que a construção vai trazer para a população de Valparaíso. “A ampliação do local vem atender a demanda da população, principalmente, a de Valparaíso que, hoje, não tem acesso direto ao Parque e com a ampliação terá”.

O secretário de Meio Ambiente da Serra, Marcos Franco, acredita que com as obras no Parque da Cidade o fluxo de pessoas aumentará em 35%. “A estimativa é de que hoje a gente receba, por mês, cerca de 20 mil pessoas, mas, a ampliação da área deve proporcionar o crescimento desse número. O novo espaço poderá ser palco de encontros, grandes eventos, amostras culturais, apresentação de artistas locais”, exemplificou.

A previsão é de que a obra seja entregue no prazo máximo de até 10 meses. Ao todo serão investidos nos local R$ 1,8 milhão.

Com área total de cerca de 120 mil metros quadrados, o Parque da Cidade já possui duas quadras poliesportivas; quadra de tênis; campo de futebol society; pista de skate; playground; ciclovia; pista de caminhada; bromeliário; auditório; e Centro de Educação Ambiental. O parque funciona de segunda a domingo, das 6 às 21 horas.
