“Praia Acessível” para pessoas com deficiência muda definitivamente para Camburi

praia-acessivelNa primeira semana de janeiro, o projeto Praia Acessível saiu da Curva da Jurema para funcionar provisoriamente em Camburi, na altura do quiosque 2, onde funciona o Núcleo de Incentivo ao Esporte e Lazer. A mudança atendeu determinação da Justiça, mas de acordo com a Prefeitura de Vitória “devido à visibilidade e ao sucesso da mudança, a pedido dos próprios usuários, a atividade passa a funcionar permanentemente no local.” A Prefeitura informou que, além de agradar aos alunos, houve aumento no número de frequentadores.

Tiozinho Júnior e Marcos Vinicius Barcellos são cadeirantes e atletas do núcleo de paradesporto do Álvares Cabral. Quando não estão treinando, aproveitam a folga no Praia Acessível. “Eu acho que a mudança foi melhor por conta da visibilidade, já que aqui passam mais pessoas. Aqueles que não conhecem o projeto agora passam a conhecer. Eu aprovo. A água é boa, tem estrutura, o deque é maior e tem banheiro logo ao lado”, comentou Marquinhos.

Tiozinho também comemorou a mudança: “O local é perfeito, além da visibilidade, pontos de ônibus no entorno e estrutura. Tomara que continue para que possamos desfrutar disso. É importante para as pessoas com deficiência tomar banho de mar, conhecer novas pessoas. Isso nos torna mais humanos”.

Estrutura

Neste verão, o projeto está funcionando de quinta a domingo, das 8 às 13 horas. São duas cadeiras anfíbias

à disposição das pessoas com mobilidade reduzida que queiram se refrescar no mar de Camburi.

Profissionais da Prefeitura ficam em uma tenda instalada no local auxiliando e orientando as pessoas com deficiência para que todas tenham um lazer seguro. A cadeira anfíbia é especial, pois não afunda na areia e é flutuante. A altura permite ainda que a pessoa que a utiliza sinta a água do mar.

Mudança

A Prefeitura teve que mudar o local de funcionamento do projeto porque o Ministério Público entrou com uma ação na Justiça denunciando que a Curva da Jurema onde ele estava sendo realizado era um local impróprio para banho. A Justiça acatou o pedido de transferência e a Prefeitura fez a mudança para Camburi.
