A Rússia começou o recrutamento de seis a oito pessoas para participar de voos à lua, informou nessa terça-feira a estatal russa Space Corporation Roscosmos.
“O objetivo é selecionar os melhores especialistas, que têm a habilidade de trabalhar com espaço e equipamentos de aeronaves”, disse a Roscosmos em comunicado à imprensa, acrescentando que os escolhidos vão trabalhar de acordo com o programa da Estação Espacial Internacional (ISS). Serão os primeiros pilotos da nova nave russa Federatsiya e os primeiros russos a voar para a lua.
A seleção de astronautas começou ontem (14). Os resultados serão divulgados no fim de dezembro, disse Alexander Ivanov, primeiro vice-diretor-geral da Roscosmos, em entrevista à Agência Sputnik.
De acordo com o serviço de imprensa do Roscosmos, além de vários requisitos, incluindo nacionalidade, idade limite, formação e experiência profissional, os concorrentes terão de passar por um conjunto de testes de aptidão física, qualidades psicológicas, capacidades profissionais e proficiência em língua.
