Saques da poupança superam depósitos pelo quarto mês seguido

Os saques superaram os depósitos em poupança pelo quarto mês seguido. De acordo com dados do Banco Central (BC) divulgados nesta sexta (5), a retirada líquida chegou a R$ 1,270 bilhão em abril, resultado menor do que o registrado em igual período de 2016 (R$ 8,246 bilhões).

No mês passado, os depósitos ficaram em R$ 153,346 bilhões e os saques, em R$ 154,617 bilhões. Foram creditados R$ 3,777 bilhões de rendimentos e o saldo dos depósitos em poupança alcançou R$ 661,912 bilhões.

De janeiro a abril deste ano, a retirada líquida chegou a R$ 18,672 bilhões, contra R$ 32,296 bilhões em igual período do ano passado.

Desde o início da recessão econômica, em 2015, os investidores têm retirado dinheiro da caderneta para cobrir dívidas num cenário de queda da renda e de aumento de desemprego. Outro fator que contribuiu para os saques foi a perda de rentabilidade da caderneta em relação a outras aplicações.
