Vila Velha troca pontos viciados em lixo por arte

A Secretaria de Serviços Urbanos de Vila Velha começa a implantar o projeto “Aqui tinha lixo, agora tem arte”, com o artista de grafite Claudio Valdetaro, conhecido como Tripa. O artista criou um personagem chamado “lixinho” para transmitir à comunidade do entorno da Rua Clovis Rodrigues Pereira de Freitas, em Jaburuna, mensagens de conscientização sobre o descarte irregular de lixo. A proprietária do imóvel vizinho à escola permitiu que o grafite fosse criado em seu muro.

A Secretaria limpa periodicamente o local e a coleta de lixo domiciliar é diária no bairro. “O ponto viciado está entre a escola e esse imóvel. A Secretaria instalou dois contentores, mas mesmo assim a população ainda descarta muito lixo por aqui. Às vezes acumula tanto que os alunos têm dificuldade de entrar na escola”, falou o técnico Jair Chagas.

Segundo a diretora Ottilia Luiza, a ação está em consonância com as demais que a escola promove, entre as quais está a coleta seletiva do lixo que é praticada desde o início do ano letivo. Para Tripa, que realizou o trabalho de maneira voluntária, a arte é uma forma de educar com alegria. “É gratificante poder usar minha arte como ferramenta de conscientização. A mensagem alcança pessoas de todas as idades”.

A moradora Aparecida Stinghel gostou muito da iniciativa. “A arte vai ajudar a conscientizar as crianças também. Desde cedo a pessoa tem que aprender que vive numa sociedade com direitos e deveres. É muito ruim ver o que as pessoas fazem aqui. Lixo no lugar errado prejudica nossa saúde”, concluiu. A secretaria pretende levar o projeto para outros locais com pontos viciados de lixo.
